Hello from the Compound Lab!
This is going to be the first of many posts from the lab this year, and I wanted this to serve as an introduction of sorts.
My plan for these posts is to provide better information about what services we provide in general and how we can help you, specifically. Unfortunately, as the meme attached with this post suggests, many people don't even know compounding exists, much less how it can help them. I can't tell you how many times I've had people tell me that they wished they had known what we could do for them, because it would have made their lives much easier.
So, to start--what is compounding?
There are many ways to describe it, but for me, I think of it as personalized medicine. Just like not every off-the-rack suit fits every person, not every mass-manufactured medicine does either. So, in a sense, compounding is like bespoke tailoring--but for your healthcare.
How do you know if compounding can help you? That's what this series of posts is intended to answer. Stay tuned, and we’ll cover many of the services that we can provide—including some you may not expect. Not every post may seem relevant to you, but my hope is that each of you will find at least one post that you connect with. And just because a post doesn't apply to your health right now, it may in the future!
I’ll be writing a new post each week (look for it on Fridays!)—and posting the occasional behind-the-scenes video from the lab too!
Until next time,
Brandon
